Hello from a wet and soggy Penrhiw and Cefn Coed.  We are all longing for a spell of dry weather to continue the harvest. We are snatching a field as and when we can but it is making harvest a long protracted affair.  We are hanging on the forecaster's every word just hoping there will a window .......

We were so lucky on the weekend to have a dryish day for the local horse show we host at Penrhiw every year (we only got wet once !!)

Busy market weekend - Rhiwbina on Friday, Usk, Cowbridge and Tonteg on Saturday and Riverside on Sunday.  The usual range of produce and we have started to include sister Kath's raw milk on the stall (not at Usk though).   The milk comes from a herd of Ayrshire cows which, although farmed traditionally, is not organic.
